For us, the standard is climate-friendly building design in line with Germany’s KfW energy efficiency guidelines.
We build with breathable, vapor-permeable wall systems. Our ThermoPlus exterior walls are up to 400 mm thick, depending on climate requirements. These walls achieve a U-value of 0.11 W/m²K. We insulate using high-performance, sustainable building materials.
Living in a preHAUS home doesn’t just mean enjoying a perfectly healthy indoor climate—it also means saving on heating costs and contributing to resource conservation.
In addition, CO₂ emission levels are extremely low. The technology we use is precisely adapted to maximize the building envelope’s efficiency, create an exceptional living environment, and offer an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
With our ThermoPlus and ThermoVital natural insulation concepts, you become a true climate protector.
Our holistic insulation approach covers the energy-efficient insulation of exterior walls, windows, roofs, reinforced concrete foundations, and basements—enabling long-term and consistent energy savings.
Our ThermoPlus wall system meets Germany’s highest energy efficiency standard: KfW 40. For compliance with Turkish standards, the wall thickness is 28 cm.
This energy-efficient, cost-effective construction also makes it possible to benefit from government incentive programs.
preHAUS builds modern, sustainable homes that set an example in sustainability, climate protection, and energy efficiency.
With proven insulation and energy concepts, preHAUS homes go well beyond the requirements of the legally mandated Building Energy Code (TS 825). This means you can enjoy a healthy living environment with low energy consumption, save on heating costs, and protect your budget.
At the same time, by consuming less energy, you help conserve valuable resources and contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions—showing respect for nature and the environment.
preHAUS’s insulation systems provide a comfortable indoor climate year-round, in both summer and winter. The TS 825 insulation standards are easily met with our insulation concepts. With preHAUS’s thermoVital (standard) or thermoPlus natural insulation solutions, you save resources, energy, and money.
Wood is not only a renewable raw material, but also ideal for meeting high energy standards.
It naturally provides insulation that ensures energy efficiency suitable for all four seasons. Energy-efficient construction offers numerous advantages—for example, you may benefit from various financing opportunities available for low-energy homes.
The climatic properties of wood, combined with its natural energy-saving capabilities and moisture-regulating qualities, create a healthy indoor environment—making it the ideal material for transforming your wooden home into a truly energy-efficient house.
preHAUS’s ecological wooden homes, which help you save both energy and money, are an essential step toward a more sustainable world.
For preHAUS, it’s not just about ensuring your building technology is eco-friendly and highly energy-efficient—it’s also about making sure you feel truly comfortable in your ecological wooden home.
Anyone who appreciates the look of wooden homes or dreams of a “natural house” will also value modern timber construction technologies that enable the optimal use of renewable and natural energy sources.

The Ceramic Chimney System consists of three nested layers.
At the core is a chamotte-based ceramic flue pipe. This is surrounded by heat-resistant stone wool insulation, and the outermost layer is completed with lightweight pumice blocks.
This structure ensures that preHAUS homes benefit from safe and efficient heating—without heat loss or fire risk. It also eliminates factors that can lead to soot buildup and reduced draft, offering a clean and reliable chimney performance.
By collecting rainwater, you save valuable tap water.
In doing so, you not only conserve natural resources but also reduce your utility costs. Using rainwater for toilets, washing machines, cleaning, and garden irrigation can reduce tap water consumption in private households by up to 50%.
Rainwater usage also eliminates the technical and chemical efforts required to remove fertilizer, pesticide, and pharmaceutical residues (such as hormones, antibiotics, and contrast agents) often found in tap water.
Since rainwater is naturally soft and lacks calcium and magnesium minerals, it also prevents limescale buildup in household appliances and plumbing systems.
